Injili Bible Church Bible study booklets are available in both English and Swahili. These booklets have been written to help Christians understand what the Bible teaches. The booklets are written in a simple and clear manner and are aimed particularly at those Christians who have very little or no Bible training at all. They are also useful for a pastor who wants material to train others in his church. Each booklet is between 20 and 24 pages. There are ten booklets giving a basic foundation in theology. Each booklet is divided into a number of lessons and each lesson is an exposition of a passage in the Bible. Please feel free to download these booklets and to use them as you please, but please note that the booklets are copyright protected. Please do not publish them or translate them without the permission of the church. Please note that some of the download or read in kiswahili links may not be clickable. This is because the specified booklet is either not available for download or not available in kiswahili.

The Teachings of J.C. Ryle for the people of Africa today
|
J.C. Ryle was an Anglican vicar in the UK in the 19th century who was appointed the first bishop of Liverpool in 1880. He was a prolific writer who produced some of the finest Christian books ever written in the English language. Some of his books like Expository Thoughts on the Gospels and Holiness have never been out of print since they were published in the late 1800s.
The materials that Ryle wrote are remarkably relevant to the people of East Africa today because he speaks on many of the issues that concern us today. For this reason, we are producing a series of booklets in both English and Swahili called the Teachings of J.C. Ryle for the people of Africa today. The language of these booklets has been up-dated and simplified, so that people in Africa today can access Ryle’s powerful, Biblical teaching for themselves.
